Procrastination At It’s Finest

It’s been awhile since I’ve been on here. It’s not because I haven’t been reading, I’ve just been, well, procrastinating. I am the Queen if Procrastination and putting things off to the last minute. Terrible flaw but not one I plan on remedying soon…

Maybe it’s true of all writers, those published or those who just dream of being published, that we all suffer from Procrastination and need a little prodding. There are so many ideas floating around but once I sit down, they are gone and I’m back on Pinterest.

One day I’ll write the next chapter. Maybe. It’ll get there eventually. Oh look, 25 ways to organize your closet….another task for another day.

Or, perhaps, I’ll just write a little bit and see where it goes. Or I’ll just plan on writing and do something else. Either way, I’ll get it to it sometime.

Set the goal and work towards. Take some quiet time and just write anything and everything. Not everything written will be good or usable. But at least you are writing.

In the meantime, here’s a list of books I’ve been reading:

A Wrinkle In Time

Columbine

A Mother’s Reckoning, By Susan Klebold

A Place Called Waco

And The Mountains Echo

And two reviews coming soon on:

In Hidden Places by Tracie Peterson

One Blood by John M. Perkins

Enjoy your Tuesday! Write more. Read more. And keep on procrastinating.
